Collapsible Salad Spinner

I bought this before any reviews had been posted and, given the price, was quite reluctant to do so without the benefit of others' experience. However, I couldn't be happier that I took the plunge. It works really well and is easy to collapse and put up. I agree that some instructions regarding whether the lid comes apart would be useful as it takes forever to dry after washing, but disagree that it takes up a lot of space when collapsed - it's flat enough to sit on top of other items without any problem. Even though the bowl is half rubber, it looks attractive enough to use for serving, and the large colander is very useful. A great purchase for a small kitchen

I deliberated before spending so much on a salad spinner but am so glad I made the purchase, I love it. It works brilliantly and is stored very easily. I agree that simple instructions would be helpful - Can you take the lid apart? I haven't dared try! In short a brilliant addition in my kitchen. Thank you.

Having tried three different models of salad spinner, I've finally found one that works! The lettuce comes out around 95% dry (which is fine for most purposes), and it's worth the price for me just to have dry lettuce at last. The spinner seems suitably strong, too, and looks like it should last a long time. Making it collapsible is really useful for storage, although it's still quite large even when flattened, so you need a decent size cupboard to store the spinner in. The main problem I have had is that there are no instructions with the product - it took me a while to work out how to collapse and rebuild my spinner, and I haven't yet dared take the lid apart to wash it, as I'm not at all sure how to get it back together afterwards. Overall - very good, but instructions would be useful!

I loved this product at first as it saves storage space. However after 3 uses the cord broke. The cord was frayed after the first use but to break after 3 uses is unbelievable.
