Lakeland Mini Mix

I bought this to whip small quantities of cream and was impressed by the glowing description. When I got it home I was sceptical, then I tried it. WOW! It really works! Fast and effortless, it whipped enough cream for two without having to get out the electric mixer. I highly recommend this!

My grandmother showed me how to use this 40 years ago and i was taught to separate the white and yolk. Whisk the white 1st, then add the yolk. I've never had any egg left in the bottom. Makes beautiful fluffy omelettes. I'm ordering one for my daughter who has just bought her 1st house.

Fab item, really pleased. Be careful when washing in dishwasher as my lid became misshapen but as always Lakeland replaced no problems.

We had a similar one to this when I was young and so I was pleased to see this in the Lakeland catalogue.I find it is not so good for a one egg mixture as the whisk does not reach right to the bottom of the container, leaving a small depth of unmixed egg yolk.It is fine for whisking milk for coffee, much better when the milk is cold for some reason. You get that lovely frothy milk that somehow makes ordinary instant coffee taste nicer.I think the whisk would be better in a flexible rubber material so it might reach the bottom of the container. Lakeland research staff please note!Otherwise it is OK.
