We sold this many moons ago, and due to overwhelming popular demand, it's back! Whisk the smallest amount in seconds, be it one egg white, or a spoonful or two of cream. Gives excellent light, fluffy results with minimum effort.
Perfect too for batter mixes and mayonnaise, or even hot milk for a delicious, frothy coffee.

I'm afraid I find this very difficult to use. The lid is too tight and difficult to get on and off, especially with hot liquid inside. Milk does froth but instantly flattens again. Shame.

My grandmother showed me how to use this 40 years ago and i was taught to separate the white and yolk. Whisk the white 1st, then add the yolk. I've never had any egg left in the bottom. Makes beautiful fluffy omelettes. I'm ordering one for my daughter who has just bought her 1st house.
We had a similar one to this when I was young and so I was pleased to see this in the Lakeland catalogue.I find it is not so good for a one egg mixture as the whisk does not reach right to the bottom of the container, leaving a small depth of unmixed egg yolk.It is fine for whisking milk for coffee, much better when the milk is cold for some reason. You get that lovely frothy milk that somehow makes ordinary instant coffee taste nicer.I think the whisk would be better in a flexible rubber material so it might reach the bottom of the container. Lakeland research staff please note!Otherwise it is OK.

Fab item, really pleased. Be careful when washing in dishwasher as my lid became misshapen but as always Lakeland replaced no problems.
I bought this to whip small quantities of cream and was impressed by the glowing description. When I got it home I was sceptical, then I tried it. WOW! It really works! Fast and effortless, it whipped enough cream for two without having to get out the electric mixer. I highly recommend this!
