Individual Cupcake Caddies

I wish I had read these reviews before buying the product- the only consolation is that I got it in the sale! It's a shame as it could be a very promising product but as the other reviewers have pointed out, there is a spike in the lid which I assume was supposed to secure the cupcake? Instead it makes a mess of the icing and although my boyfriend didn't complain when he ate a mushy cupcake, I was left feeling let down by a purchase I was originally very excited about! I think the photograph of the product is misleading- if only my poor cupcake had made it out alive and in the same condition!

I thought these would be a lovely idea, but due to the raised section in the bottom and the spike in the top these would only be suitable for cupcakes with very little icing. What a shame, as they could be made so much better with a little bit of tweaking.

I saw these cupcake caddies and thought they would be a lovely way to transport a cupcake as part of a packed lunch for my daughters. I tried them out for the first time today. Oh dear - disaster! The cupcakes slipped and the spike in the lid made a mess of the decoration (nothing fancy, just a swirl of butter cream and a carrot) Might be better with a plain muffin, but I don't really need something this size for one of those. Lovely idea, but sadly not very practical.

I bought the individual cupcake caddies as I think it is a fantastic idea ( I still do). Unfortunately they don't hold a cupcake bigger than approx a 1.5" case. I tried with a 2" case and found it was too big. The problem is the fins in the base of the cupcake caddie, without these the cases would fit. Is there any chance of making these without the fins? Also I have spoken to Customer Services (Daniel) and I have to say excellent Customer Service as usual.

When I saw these I thought they would be a brilliant idea and they look very cute but unfortunately the part that is meant to hold the cake in place actually sticks into the decorative part of the cake and ruins it so defeats the object. These would only be useful if your cakes are not being decorated.
