Culinare One Touch Jar Opener

I bought this product for my disabled Mother it is so good both myself and a friend are now buying one.Mum can now open a jar when she needs to not when someone visits.

Quite amazing. Just place opener over jar, press switch and watch one set of 'arms' fit round jar, then another set automatically locates lid. Once there it takes over, rotating lid until open. Stops automatically.

Although I'm only late 40's, I already have the arthritis in my hands with resulting weakness. My husband used to tease me about this, and so he bought me one of these for Xmas as a "joke present". The joke backfired because it's absolutely brilliant. It grips onto the jar, then the lid, then turns to release the jar. All on its own like magic! My husband now shows it off to visiting friends. It has undone a jar which was sticky round the top and almost totally stuck, and also works on bottles such as ketchup and salad dressing.

I have athritis in my hands and cannot open jars. This machine is brilliant and I think it is excellant engineering. Fun to watch. Bit sad I know! I no longer have to do with out pickle until my husband is home to open jars. I have had it for months and it still works well.

Well done Lakeland (and Culinaire)! A fantastic help for arthritic hands and so easy to use - I love it! I'm just waiting for this firm to develop a battery garlic press and I'll be happy!!
