These lock and store boxes are excellent for me; I have arthritis and I can even open them when they have just come out of the freezer. I have large boxes too for things like flour and pasta. If my hand slips they are easier to catch and the locking edges always stay put if I drop a box with only 3 sides locked.I do wash them by hand though, they dry easily on the drainer and then with a towel. Better than cheaper versions too.
I bought these in preference to another brand because they seemed perfectly easy to open and close. However, having washed them in the dishwasher on the top shelf, I found them very difficult to close. Even my husband had problems. I note other customers had similar problems with other sized boxes and wish I'd read the reviews before buying them. It's a different brand for me from now on and these will be returned to the store.

I have ordered a fair few of these boxes in different sizes and they are great. I have re-arranged my cupboards and have no half filled boxes anymore which means no throwing away food which might dry out. My crackers don't go soft. The different sizes means you can cram thing into small spaces and as they are leak proof you can lie them down and things won't leak over the cupboard shelves. Also good for the fridge and freezer too. I will be ordering more!
I have found the 1.1L container useful for home-made ice-cream, as the 1L mixes often produce just over a litre. This saves me having to put the last few spoonfuls in a separate container. The seal is just as good as the other brands I use.
