"Excellent Product" star star star star star I use these every year to make my Christmas puddings. Practical and easy to use time and time again.
"Super" star star star star star Have always use these basins for years for Christmas puddings but never seems to get them back for reuse thats why I usually but them every tear
"Read the bottom before use" star star star star star_border Lovely bowls. Excellent seal on lid. BUT I steam my puddings in a Bain Marie in the oven, fortunately I did notice the writing on the bottom when I was washing them. Do not use in the oven.
"Excellent!" star star star star star I have just made my Xmas pudding in one of the 1.2L basins and am very pleased with the result. My Mary Berry recipe did recommend a 1.4L basin so I didn't fill the bowl but kept some mixture to make two mini puds. I could have got all my mixture in but I guess it is best to leave a gap underneath the lid. I had no problem at all with the lid, it fitted perfectly. The only thing I am not sure of is whether it is better to store it for the next two months in greaseproof and foil as I usually do or is it fine in the plastic basin? support_agent A note from the team Many thanks for placing your review. We're delighted the Christmas pudding made in the pudding basin was a great success! We'd suggest with sticking to storing it in greaseproof paper and foil if this has worked for you in the past. Thanks again for your feedback.
"fabulous product for pressure cookers!!" star star star star star I have used these before in the smaller size, but steamed manually, to great effect. Super non stick finish, pudding slid out easily after reheating in the microwave, and the lids fitted well. After making several of the 1.2 litre size and manually steaming one for six hours(!) I decided as I had made a few, to purchase a pressure cooker. I wasn't sure if these would be suitable, but hurrah, they are! Don't stop doing these!! Thoroughly recommend and great range of sizes, too!!
