Salter 4-Way Timer

I'm not a usual reviewer but felt I had to as I think this timer is so good. I took out of its packaging, removed the battery tab and it worked. I've still not used the instructions as it's so intuitive and just what I wanted for timing multiple facets of one meal. I looked at the review which said it was complicated but why buy a 4 way timer if you want 'really easy' operation? I love my new Salter and it's ideal for its intended use.

This is a great timer love the four differant choices great when cooking JOINT/VEG/ROAST POT/YORKSHIRE PUDS. Can get them all cooked at the same time by putting them in when timer goes off for the earlier part of meal, love the fact you can still have clock going while timer(s) are all running, Also magnet sticks on anything metal in kitchen (stick mine on boiler) but also attatches to pans and side of cooker, I have problems gripping thing due to arthritis in my hands but find this very easy to use.

I think this a brilliant timer! Have not tried its magnetic capacity as anything metallic to which it could attach (apart from the oven) is in another room. I am perfectly happy to put it on its stand on the work surface or on the windowsill.I like that fact that it has a clock as well as 4 timers which are very useful. The reason I have given it only 4 stars is that I feel the beepers could be a little louder and the instructions written in larger writing.

I needed a timer as my previous (Lakeland) timer had broken after many years of use. I wanted a basic one but as this is the only digital one Lakeland had I thought I'd give it a go. I agree that the buttons can be a bit stiff but other than that I think it is just great. I thought 4 different timers would be fussy and irritating to use but it's actually pretty helpful! Timer one is set for a cup of tea, another 2 are set at times that I use regularly and the other I leave as flexible. Really appeals to my lazy nature not having to press the buttons lots of times! Have had no problems with the battery cover or magnet. Having said that I haven't had it for that long so time will tell (ha ha!).

V practical, v easy to use. Only slight issue is some fading of the digital clock.
