This a very smart product but the display is too small and the ringer too quiet. It is only suitable for young eyes and ears

It's so useful to be able to time more than one item, and when I first reviewed this, I gave it 5 stars. However, none of the buttons have lasted well. One button was so stiff it wouldn't move at all, and the rest were falling apart. I've binned mine, and I won't be buying another.

i love lakeland products an thought this would replace my clockwork timed. I have had lots of problems with it. The display fades when you are setting the timers and as for the clock it just does not stay at the correct time. I was prepared to blame user incompetence but my OH has as much trouble as I do. So I am going to have to replace it. It was expensive for a timer so I am not pleased

I'm not a usual reviewer but felt I had to as I think this timer is so good. I took out of its packaging, removed the battery tab and it worked. I've still not used the instructions as it's so intuitive and just what I wanted for timing multiple facets of one meal. I looked at the review which said it was complicated but why buy a 4 way timer if you want 'really easy' operation? I love my new Salter and it's ideal for its intended use.
Like the multiple timing function, large display, compact and each of the 4 timing functions have a different tone. Very useful when cooking a number of things at the same time. However, batteries cost us £10 and therefore better value for money to simply replace the timer.
