"wonder cooker" star star star star star when i first purchased this product i thought i had made a dreadful mistake but after doing some research on the web ive realised how good it is and fast! i think people are having probs with the roast function the trick is to start on roast to brown and then turn down to saute/grill function it works a treat i am very pleased with the wonder cooker its well worth a try.
"Handy Little Cooker" star star star star star After seeing this on a TV shopping channel we decided to go for it from Lakeland who we have bought from in the past and so know of the great after sales care. It does more or less what it says, you do need to be careful if you cook your meat in a bit of water like we do as it can overflow if on the roasting setting, we have done stews, chops, bacon and sausage etc. The only negative I will give is the lack of a recipe book, so its just trial and error but lots of fun to be had learning.
"Recipes for wondercooker" star star star star star_border I also am a little disappointed with the recipes sent with the cooker. Are we going to be able to purchase the recipe book you talk about new? support_agent A note from the team The recipe leaflet is available on the website underneath the description for the wondercooker.
"Wonder cooker" star star star star star_border This arrived last week and I've tested it out a few times. I've used it to seal meat, fry and slow cook and it worked very well for all. I look forward to more experimentation! I am a little disappointed in the recipes that were enclosed. I'd hoped for more that could be made from scratch (ie without various bottled sauces). The 2 guide lines in the bowl aren't really explained. I'm guessing the lower one is the fill level for flash frying, but am not sure of the higher one. (Recipe book and guide levels are why it didn't receive 5 stars).
"WonderCooker" star star star star star_border I purchased a wonder cooker last week from Lakeland and although the recipes provided are quite American, after a little trial and error I can now cook easily using the wondercooker. I am thinking about getting another for my daughter to take to University so that she does not have to have microwaved meals all the time. I am particularly impressed with how easy it is to roast a chicken and have now worked out how to steam salmon. The stir fry is excellent and perhaps the easiest thing to do when you are learning how to use the cooker. I hope more recipes come out soon and if they don't think it will be it impossible to figure it out using the American recipes but changing certain ingredients.
