These are great quality tubs, I think I have most sizes now! The way they now nest together is really useful. To keep them clean I like to put the lid on the top one, which does mean keeping the other lids loose on top. The older oblong & round ones mostly fitted inside each other with the lids still on, if you were careful to buy the right ones to build up your collection!
A brilliant alternative use for this Lock and Lock box is to decant any powdered plant feed into it. When left in its platic bag, the powder absorbs water, clumps together, sets hard and eventually needs a metal tool to chip a piece off. In a Lock and Lock, it stays powdery for not just months, but into the next year. Now I need two more, for potato and tomato feed, as keeping them fresh and usable saves money in the long run, as well as time and temper.
This product is required as a transit box for photographic lenses to replace the original styrene and carton packaging.
This container is perfect for bags of sugar. I bought three for the different sugars used in my baking and they are brilliant!
My husband is a 'grazer' but also has coeliac disease - this holds just the right amount of tasty gluten free nibbles to keep him contented on the road or at his desk. Quick to wash and dry for refilling but I'll be buying a few more to keep in the store cupboard so he never runs out.
