I love the lock and lock range. They last for ages and are great in the freezer to microwave. Now that they now stack inside each other they are even better. I hope they start doing all the sizes stackable.
The box is just the right size for a lunch portion of Rice, Pasta or Bean Salad, or a generous snack of fruit or vegetables. This little beauty keeps a Sandwich nicely under control. I make my own bread with a Panasonic Bread Maker, and I pack the filling in! I cut my sandwich across, before wiggling it into the Container. It is a tight squeeze, and the sandwich comes out easier if I wrap the stack in clingfilm first. Never any leaks, dishwasher-safe I have six of them, and on the rare occasion that they are all clean, they take up almost no space in the cupboard!
We first bought a few lock & lock boxes many years ago and they have been really good. We find this size is perfect for freezing a portion of soup or just about any other food. We have bought more as we have a lot of produce form our garden to freeze and we know that these are 100% watertight and will keep the food perfect for as long as we want. We also use them for storing a wide range of things at home nd in our caravan.
The main problem with these containers is that if used to give remains of dinner to friends to take home they so often don't find their way back so I have to continually have to buy more.
Best food containers out there. Bought these to replace some tubs I was using to store soup in, I make a big batch of soup every three weeks and spilt into these containers for freezing. Idea size, one tub fills my food flask for lunch. Will always buy this brand.
