I ordered 2 of these one for me and one for my 4 year old daughter so we can decorate cakes together. I was a little aprehensive as all piping implements I have bought have been rubbish.Well I needant have been they are great and so easy to use!!! We had such fun. Thanks Lakeland.xxx
I had a metal version of this which loyally saw me through my amateurist attempts at birthday cakes, desserts etc. while my children were young and into the start of grandchildren era. After 30 years, sadly, it finally expired and I needed a replacement. Despite the mixed reviews, I decided to go for this design again as I am hopless with a piping bag. Yes, it's a little on the small size but, for me (a very non professional) it's perfectly adequate and very controllable, even my 4 year old grandson can use it. Good selection of nozzles and useful storage box. It works brilliantly for me.
After having an awful time with another icing set, I decided to try this one and I loved it, the best I've used in quite a while and while it is small, I found no problems with it!
I would like to say how easy I found this product to use. It is very good for decorating small cakes and adding small detail on larger cakes
I find piping bag a bit fiddly and time consuming to use so I bought this item to make icing easier and it definitely did that! I've experimented with all of the different nozzles and love all of the different effects. The only downside is that I find the nozzle hard to clean. I also think it is good value in the long run as you can reuse it as many times as you want compared to continually having to buy piping bags. Great product.
