Speed up harvesting time with our Berry Picker. Recommended to us by Mrs Rosemary Wright of Halifax, who borrowed one from a friend and found it made such a difference.
Traditionally found in Scandinavia, where it's used for collecting lindenberries, the Berry Picker is quicker, easier and safer than other methods, scooping up just the berries , keeping them safe in the container but leaving twigs and foliage behind.
Suitable for picking most berries.

I purchased the Berry Picker along with the Berry Sieve a couple of weeks ago especially to pick wild Bilberries. It is fantastic; speeding up the whole laborious procedure. It was fun and easy to use and the Berry Sieve enabled me to clean my harvest before returning home. In a nutshell both the aforementioned are great products. Thanks Lakeland.
We bought our berry picker while on holiday in Windermere and though my husband was a little unsure he tried it on his blackcurrants. He is amazed at how good it is and how easy it was to use and clean afterwards. What used to be such a tiresome fiddly job has now become so quick to doThank you Lakeland
I bought this for my mother in the height of the currant season. She absolutely loved it. The job of picking (and removing the stems from) red, black and white currants, jostaberries, gooseberries, etc. was done in minutes rather than hours. My mother is not one for praising things so getting a "wonderful" and an "excellent" from her is very high praise indeed.We don't think it will be much good for the raspberries and blackberries as you have to be so much more selective to pick the ripe ones and leave those that are not yet ripe but it's worth every penny for the currants.
I bought this a bit dubiously and promised myself that if it was really useful or useless I would come back and review it. The Berry Picker has yet to be put into use on our berries as the children are eating them before I get there but it is excellent for currants. Remarkably few leaves get caught in the picker and it makes what I used to find a bit of a chore incredibly easy. It will double the amount of jelly made by us this year.
I looked at these a couple of times before 'taking the plunge'. It is wonderful at picking blackcurrants, what a time saver! Then recently I tried it on some elderberries, a few 'escaped', but again very useful, well worth buying. Thank you.
