My Kitchen Meat Mincer
Product number: 13666
Making minced meat out of butchers' cuts and leftover roasts, the My Kitchen mincer is a powerful piece of kit. Just feed meat into the hopper and let the high-powered motor get to work. The toughest grinding jobs are no match for its patented stainless steel chamber, and there's a shredder with four drums for fine and coarse grating, slicing and puréeing that will deftly deal with hard cheeses and vegetables!
Combined with an easy-clean plastic body, a grinding chamber safety lock and accessories such as a pusher and sausage stuffer nozzle, plus recipes that introduce you to the machine, this mighty mincer is a welcome addition to the My Kitchen range.
16 x 24 x 32cm H. (6¼" x 9½" x 12½").

I bought this machine for the purpose of making my own sausages (limited choice of gluten free in shops).Everything works great on it, but my only criticism is the design of the sausage making nozzle.I purchased some 28mm sausage skins (for normal sized sausages) and I can only get about 75cm of skin on the nozzle. This makes about 4 sausages.I wouldn't be able to get chipolata skins on at all.It would be better to have 2 different sized nozzle attachments without the taper. It would also be an advantage if Lakeland stocked sausage skins. I've had to source mine on the internet.
I'll pass your suggestion on to our Buying team for their consideration in future.
This is a great family mincer - compact enough to fit into my already well-filled cupboard. The motor is not too noisy, and it ground up 1kg of meat very easily last night in only a few minutes which came out nice and clean. Easy to assemble and take apart, and the parts are easy to clean - you need a bristly brush though.I really like electric gadgets that have their own cord storage (because of my bursting cupboards...) , which this one does. However it is not easy to tuck the plug into the base, and that was a bit disappointing. Also I do not need the separate grating/slicing gadgets, so to they have to go into a box in the garage.
I have been using 28mm diameter collagen casings with my old hand-cranked sausage stuffer for many years, but the larger diameter of the only stuffing tube supplied with the My Kitchen product renders these skins unusable. It would be good if, as is the case with many other stuffers, a range of tubes (small, medium & large diameter and, preferably, with parallel sides, rather than tapered) was provided. It would be next to impossible to make small diameter sausages (chipolatas) with this machine...
