My Kitchen Electric Slicer

I bought this slicer primarily to cut cooked ham for school sandwiches as I thought that 2.99 for 3 slices of ham in the supermarket a little steep ! I boiled and roasted a small ham and when cooled put it to go. I used the thinnest setting and achieved a mountain of wafer thin slices for a whole weeks worth of sandwiches. It's very easy to use ,just plug in and go. It was worth purchasing the slicer knowing that I will save about 20 pounds a month and sometimes more on packaged ham.Hurrah! Thank you Lakeland .looking forward to getting the most slices out of roast beef, lamb,etc :)

I don't normally write reviews but this slicer has impressed both me and more husband that much I thought it only right to tell you!! It slices bread perfectly whether thick or thin in a matter of minutes! I don't know what I did without it. Doesn't get jammed or slide along the work surface. Very impressed, not tried to slice anything else on it (oh apart from a tomato, which it sliced very thinly perfectly!). Easy to clean too!

Always used an electric knife for my homemade bread, but when it died I decided to go one better and get a slicer. This is perfect, easy to use and clean, would love a cover for it though - hint to lakeland buyers !!

this slicer was bought as a practical gift and wow! what a great little tool to have around. we bake our own bread and bulk buy meat from a wholesale butcher, it makes home cooked meats go a whole lot further even the smallest cuts become real value for money. this little gizmo is so easy to use and a doddle to clean, if you're looking for one GET THIS ONE, you won't regret it. another great buy from Lakeland. I would give it six stars if possible

I bought this after a disastrous purchase at that well known catalogue shop. I returned two of them! So I wad dubious about this purchase, but glad I bought it. I use it daily for slicing freshly made bread, what a fantastic job it makes of that, the main reason for buying it, but today I used it for slicing slow cooked pork, straight from the slow cooker, and it sliced like a dream. I had no problem cleaning it, the blade came out easily, I washed it in hot soapy water, then took a hot soapy cloth to the rest of it, dried it and popped it all back together. Quick, simple to do. Excellent.
