My Kitchen Electric Slicer

I purchased this to cut ham which up until now I've cut by hand. The slicer was fine to begin with but as the blade worked into the middle of the meat the slicer wasn't cutting and the blade was getting stuck. When it was stuck the machine was making a noise as cogs were slipping in side the machine. I love the idea or a fold away machine but I think I've wasted my £29.99 as it doesn't appear to be powerful enough.

Why oh why has this wonderful machine been discontinued. I've had mine a good number of years, and absolutely love it. I would like a replacement blade, and wondered if you might have any in stock.

I purchased the meat slicer several months ago and have waited until now to write a review as it is not in daily use. I am elderly with arthritic hands but I have found it exceedingly good in cutting meat consistently to the required thickness, very easy to clean and dismantle and reliable in use.-

Was really fed up of sharpening knives so purchased this product today , it was easy to use , easy to clean , and cut through our Sunday roast with ease and for the first time , no waste whatsoever, really pleased should have purchased one sooner

Have had one of these for a couple of years and found it invaluable for slicing hams, joints, bread and cheese but lately also realised can cut lovely even slices from fruits such as tomatoes. Love it so much I bought two as gifts for family members. No more little packets of transparent wet ham at inflated cost at the supermarket - cook my own in Cola and it lasts all week in a variety of recipes costing me about £6 in total!
