For soups, sauces, smoothies and milkshakes, the blender is an essential piece of kit. With six settings from purée to grate, ours will not only transform your recipes to velvety smooth perfection, but will also perform more heavy-duty tasks such as crushing ice.
If ingredients need to be added as you blend, say for mayonnaise, the removable 60ml feeder cup makes it simple, while the glass jug is graduated up to 1500ml/6 cups for easy measuring.
Stainless steel base.
We recommend that soups, sauces and cooked foods should be cooled to room temperature before blending.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and I love it, I've made soups, breadcrumbs and mixed ingredients together. I have no problems with it. I understand some might find it heavy but whilst in the shop buying in the sales assistant insisted that we tried lifting it so we knew what to expect. Cleaning it is easy. All in all I think it will be much used in out house. Oh yes and the children love the smoothies!
I have used blender for the first time to make a huge batch of soup (having received it an hour or two ago!) Splendid, quick and easy to use. Jug is a bit heavy when full but as it isnt flimsy plastic it should last a long time. It also looks good too.
This is my second blender now ... And it's just gone up in smoke !! First one lasted for a lot more uses than this ... Around 20 times but the black plastic surrounding the blades crumbled into my smoothie !! Sent back excellent service and onto my second . I've used it about 10 times again solely for smoothies and it's just gone up in smoke ... Making breadcrumbs for the first time !! Scary !! It does look fantastic and is a very powerful machine but for the little amount of time I have used it, it just hasn't lasted. A real shame :(

Bought 6 months ago, the bearing has failed so it leaks. Looks good but is heavy. As we use it for soups it is a nuisance to have to cool it and then re-heat. If it is not cooled the lid flies off (it is very difficult to hold on) & soup goes everywhere. Thank goodness for the Lakeland guarantee.
Purchased a couple of years ago. From the start I noticed that dry food tended to clog and not fall into the blades. We have not used it very much since new, but the blades have become loose, unusable, and leak. The screw-on base of the jug tends to work it's way loose. All in all, we are very disappointed.............................. Since writing this review I have received a full refund, which is much more than I expected as I no longer had the receipt. This doesn't change my opinion about the Blender, but I must say "Excellent After Sales Service Lakeland." Many thanks.
