Lakeland Health Grill

This is the first time that I have been disappointed with a product from LAKELAND I ordered this product looking forward to cooking health foods, when it arrived it was broken-I do not blame LAKELAND for this it was a delivery problem, when I rang them they were very helpful (thank you customer services) I received a replacement the following day but was very disappointed with the quality the LOCK is insufficient and does not hold the lid in place as it should. Other than that it is acceptable, would give it only three stars out of five.BRONWYN Have now realised that I was not pushing the locking devise far enough up to the lock mechanism my fault completely, LAKELAND please accept my apologises,having used this about five times now would award it 10 out of five. Once again many thanks to your customer services for their help and assitance.

Once again Lakeland have come up trumps with this marvellous Health Grill - it outstrips anything else currently on the market and my husband claims he has never had such a well-cooked steak. Like the previous reviewer I, too, would welcome a recipe book to use with the grill if at all possible.A big plus for me is the fact that the cooking plates are removeable AND dishwasher-proof.

Recently received the Lakeland Health Grill. I found it very easy to use and very easy to clean. The grill plates remove for cleaning and the drip tray catches the fat and juices very well. I would like to see a recipe book for this grill so that it can be used to its full potential and not just for burgers and sausages etc. The recipe in the instruction leaflet for pork steaks is a good example.

Your health grill is superb but please, please, please can we have a recipe book for it. I am getting desperate - paninis, toasted sandwiches, steaks, chops - more recipes please, please!!

The design of this grill is good, the plates are easy to clean due to wide spaces in the ridges,the cooking surface is large enough to cook four burgers. Unfortunately the grill is poorly made, the plastic at the back between the stainless steel surfaces partially melted and broke off. The plates are poorly cut with wonky edges and are only painted on one side, causing staining underneath. The flute at the back for the fat drain is too short and fat finds its way underneath the bottom plate. The timer is poorly made and sticks. I returned the grill and bought the much better built Tefal XL
