Even a lemon drizzle cake, which was covered with sugar and lemon juice mixture while still hot and left to cool in the tin before turning out, slid out effortlessly when tin was properly buttered and floured first.

I love these tins. They feel just like the ones my gran used, solid and long lasting! - and will replace my nasty cheap tinny ones that burnt the bottom of all my cakes.
I bought 2 of these as they were on special offer, the quality is fantastic, nice heavy duty tin, will not twist or warp and clean very easily. Also bought the loaf tin liners which fit it perfectly, I use them for making gingerbread and certain cakes as they look more professional presented in the liner and put into a presentation bag. Very pleased with this item.
I am thoroughly pleased with this product. I have used it every 2 or 3 days for 3 weeks and have no problems with sticking and cleaning is accomplished with a wipe with paper kitchen towels. I had used the wider and longer tins with handles previously but I prefer the traditional higher shape of loaf created by this tin. I would suggest that those who complain of a "mushroom" shape loaf where the dough overlaps the tin edge should use a very little less liquid in their mix. I learned this having cured this trouble with previous tins. Highly recommended.
