"very disappointing" star star_border star_border star_border star_border My kitchen 2lb loaf tin. I purchased this bread tin at the end of November. I am extremely disappointed in it, I asume it should be non stick due to the coating, but I have been greasing it so much I am in danger of deep frying my bread. It still sticks to the extent I can't get the bread out of the tin. I defiantly would not recommend this and will not be purchasing another one. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. "2lb Bread Tin" star star_border star_border star_border star_border The tin has been used for about a month and already the coating is coming off the rim and has stuck to the baked loaf, so have had to stop using it. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review and taking the time to discuss this with us today. We're sorry to hear you've experienced this problem and hope the alternative replacement you bought performs well.
"Not non-stick" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Purchased this from my local Lakeland store and have used it four times in total. Each time I oiled it and dusted with flour and each time it has stuck (same recipe each time). With the latest attempt some of the non-stick coating has come off onto the bread which, as you can imagine, is very worrying. Even more painful (literally) is that you have to shake a very hot tin to get the bread out resulting in unnecessary burns. I am now having to search for a different tin as this one is going in the bin. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry the bread has stuck and that the non stick coating is coming off. We'll be in touch shortly.
"waste of money" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought two of these and first few times they worked fine. Then all of a sudden one carefully made loaf got well and truly stuck despite greasing and flouring the tin. It even pulled all the paint off the tin and completely ruined my bread. Tonight the second tin did the same and so another loaf in the compost. Gutted. Waste of time and money. Avoid unless you want the same to happen to you. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that you've had problems with both tins and will be in touch shortly.
"Good for a week or 2 then starts to shed paint" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bake bread every couple of days. The tin was excellent for a couple of weeks. After the honeymoon, the bread started to stick to the side, even with heavy greasing. Now after a couple of months, the paint covering is now starting to stick to the bread as well! I'm not sure this product is actually safe and will be returning it to a Lakeland store at the first opportunity. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review.
