After years of struggling and many contortions trying to open different size jars, which seem to be getting tighter, ( or is it me getting weaker,) I have found this nifty little item which does the job perfectly. Easy to use and it fits perfectly inside my draw with all my other utensils, no problem.
I have been having problems removing tops from jars and have bought several so called jar openers - without success. I was recommended to try the Zyliss. It is excellent - have used it on many jar tops of different sizes and it works a treat. Would recommend this product.
Finally I can open jars again. So far used for jars and bottles - very effective.
Well made simple tool, all the best ideas are. My hands don't work well due to arthritis and I have little strength.Opening bottles and jars has been a challenge. Not anymore thanks to this tool. It is so easy to use, even with my limited dexterity. Adjusts to fit anything with ease and then opens it just as easily. Wouldn't be without it now.
Over the years I have many jar openers, but this is better than all of them. I saw my 91 year old mother using it to open a jar and I used it to open a wine bottle screw cap. The next day I went out and bought one! If I hadn't known how good it was I would have thought it expensive but it's well worth it.
