Why oh why have you discontinued this product? It is great for people living alone. I bought one for myself earlier this week, it was so good I thought I would get another 3 for Christmas presents, too late its gone, Big Mistake

What a fantastic item. So useful and practical. Bought 2 for my inlaws and 6 for my family. So so pleased. Unfortunately some of the plates' glaze was quite poor. But Lakeland very kindly replaced them. Highly recommend.
Thought these were an excellent idea, bought 2 for my husband and I to use at a lunch time as we often have soup and a sandwich. They are both practical and elegant and I have had no problems with the glaze finish. We find them very useful.
I am very happy with this product. We eat a lot of soup and home made bread so it is ideal for our needs. We did have a problem with scratching our work surface in the kitchen on first usage. We use mats at table etc but our work surface is similar to marble ( some sort of reconstituted stone) and scratches very easily, luckily they disappear with scouring powder and a pad. Now we know the bases are a bit rough we are more careful in the kitchen. All in all a good buy.
I bought these plates as a present for my parents who are in their 70s/80s. They find them very handy for their meals, replacing plastic ones they had from years gone by! So well done in providing these and at a reasonable price.
