Purchased this product last week at the full price(just my luck) However, excellent product well made and does the job for anyone with a little hint of knowledge. Most reviewers seem to have a problem with using this item to inject jam into doughnuts! Why! Simply warm your jam(preferably seedless for obvious reasons) add a little lemon juice to set the jam once injected into the doughnuts. Unscrew the handle device, fill with jam from the top end, fill with jam/lemon juice mixture and away you go. What could be easier than that? Thanks for reading.

i was excited buying this but it soon turned to disappointment and inf act I had forgotten about it until i found it lurking at the back of my drawer, used twice only with poor results. The nozzle blocks, especially when using on cakes, and the liquid won't come out then. The large needle leaves holes that are too large to be sensible and basting meat the old fashioned way is more successful. all in all i am very disappointed in this product

I bought this to use primarily for meat and used it twice. While it is straightforward to use, I found that it did get clogged, despite blending my herbs finely, with some olive oil. The marinade did run through the meat though (you could clearly see when the meat was cut) when I got it through (it wasn't the one-handed job in the photo though!). Cleaned up very easily.

I bought this to feed my xmas cake but find that the nozzle gets blocked up so renders it totally useless for this job. I see a previous reviewer has also found this. Waste of money for me as I can't see me using this for any other job.

This review is for an older version of this product

I used the Flavour Injector without the 'needle' to draw the crosses on the Hot Cross Buns I made this year... a bit of fiddle to load the paste but the results were accurate and most effective - cleaned up easily afterwards too
