Kenwood Bread Machine

Even though I had looked at other places for bread makers, when I saw this one at Lakeland - I had confidence. absolutely fantastic!!!! I have made ordinary, herb & sun-dried tomato bread. But most of all was the home made jam!!! I have used the pizza recipe which is excellent & about to try out a sweet bread. The 'all singing & dancing' machine was a great buy. But what do you expect from Lakeland who only sell products that they recommend!!!Thank you!!!!

This is my first bread maker and so far really pleased I purchased it. We have not bought shop bread since. Rapid bake is brilliant for our busy life styles. Bread consistency has been good every time and recipes really easy to follow. I'm pleased its not too noisy. It looks good in the kitchen as well with the rest of my stainless steel. I would highly recommend this product.

We have used this bread maker for lots of different types of loaf. Most have been made by my husband, who is not usually very interested in cooking. All have turned out well, and we have tried a few variations to the recipe book ingredients successfully. The one time we tried making a cake, it did not mix very well, and I think cakes are better off being made in the conventional way. The level markings on the measuring beaker are a little bit ambiguous, but this is a small negative point for a generally good product.

We have benn using the Kenwood Bread Machine for a few weeks now and found that it produces a perfect loaf every time. The bread tastes great, much better than shop brought. It is so easy to use and we would recommend this machine to anyone interested in baking their own bread. We have tried other machines and this is by far the best we have used. Thanks for the great service you offer.

I had this bread machine for a week, and was pleased with my purchase, until the light stopped working. Rang Lakeland-told to ring manufacturer, as they are the only ones that can replace the bulb. This would have meant an eighty mile round trip for my nearest kenwood repair service!Lakeland then decided to replace with a new machine. So far all is well, but not as confident in my purchase now. This machine is quite large, so measuring the space for it is vital. Does make good bread, and easy to use, so keeping for now. Have so far made white, wholemeal, and pizza dough. I have not bought shop bread since this purchase, as no comparison in flavour, texture, and freshness. Did not think much of the cake cycle. I would rather use the oven and mix myself, as would take less time.Also the stickers on the machine(see demo) are difficult to remove. I still have a horrible sticky residue all round the machine, which spoils its look. For a machine of this price they could have used easy peel labels.3 stars only, due to annoyance of having to ring round after only a week, and ridiculously sticky stickers.
