Home-made drinks make a particularly refreshing tipple, but sometimes presenting them can be a problem, as they just don't look the same in old squash or fizzy drinks bottles. So that's why we love these rustic wooden containers filled with traditional shaped bottles.
Each crate is uniquely hand-made with a distressed-style finish, while the bottles have swing-top lids to ensure an airtight seal. What really lovely gifts they would make, especially when filled with home-brewed beer or cider, or old-fashioned home-made lemonade.

I brought this product and what a waste of time. They are not air tight and the swing tops rust after one wash which doesnt look good when giving as a gift.
These bottles are not airtight and leak. I bought them to use for ginger beer and they do not seal properly. I had assumed by their design that they would store the liquid under slight pressure. This is not the case. I am very disappointed that Lakeland quality control did not pick this up.

I have recently had contact from Lakeland and understand that it is now possible to buy replacement bottles if required. Thank you! This does make sense and I wish to update my review.The ginger beer I made was excellent and the bottles and bottle caddy enhanced the appearance of it!Thank you. I look forward to replacing the breakages soon!.
I bought this product to put elderflower champagne in, but am afraid the bottles have not lived up to my expectations. The seals leak and the glass does not really look strong enough to stand up to pressure. One of the bottles had a pinhole in the glass. Thank you for your speedy and hassle free replacement of that bottle. Your after sales service is always brilliant. However, I'm afraid I could not recommend the product. It certainly doesn't meet your usuallly high standards.
