Despite the poor reviews of this product I decided to go ahead and purchase it anyway. I have decreased dexterity and wanted a grater that would do the job with little effort. This fits the bill perfectly. It is very sharp but I've cut myself on "blunt" graters too. It comes with a safety guard for storage. As usual a great Lakeland product.
I, too, have lost count of the cuts and sliced nails I have received from this grater-far too sharp.

Sorry but although this grater works well it is really dangerous as it is razor sharp. Already cut my fingers and this was only getting it out of my cupboard! Too sharp to be considered safe in my opinion.

Badly designed so sharp it slices your fingers and cheese is impossible to get out. Threw away to save more cuts.
