"Dangerous!" star star_border star_border star_border star_border This review is for an older version of this product Although I bought this a while ago with several other items in the range I have only used this pan a handful of times. Today, as I lifted it from the stove, half full of hot cheese sauce, the handle parted company with the pan! Fortunately it was only a couple of inches above the work surface, but had I been carrying it across the kitchen when it happened it could have resulted in bad scalds to my legs and feet. I have been very disappointed with the pan and feel it is well below the normal good quality I've come to expect from Lakeland. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to write your review and speaking to me on the phone. We take all our reviews very seriously and were concerned to hear about your experience with the milk pan. We’ve spoken to our suppliers, who believe that this is a one off, but we will forward your milk pan onto them for investigation.
"Excellent for the price, but they stain" star star star_border star_border star_border I bought a couple of these as I needed a short-term replacement for 3 small pans bought from a now defunct high street chain whose riveted handles had become dangerously loose. I did not want to spend £25 or so each for higher quality pans. Having used these for warming milk, melting butter and, as they are the ideal size, cooking small quantities of vegetable for one or two people, the insides are now irretrievably stained - one yellow and the other green. As they are enamelled I do not want to use any aggressive or abrasive cleaners and I certainly do not want to use bleach as it might taint any future food content. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. I'm sorry that you are having problems with the pans. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
