A new generation of pans with an aluminium core sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel extending from the base throughout the whole body.

I have several of these tri-ply pans, use them constantly and love them. However, I bought this one as a milk pan and though it's great, it is terrible for pouring runny liquids - milk etc 'catches' on the edge of the pan so it pours all over the countertop. As a result I rarely use it for its intended purpose.
