A great addition to your kitchen-cupboard staples, just a quick spritz from this can will give an instant, pasteurised whole egg wash to pastries, pies or home-made bread, giving a perfect glaze without the waste or fuss of using a 'real' egg.

I am baker by profession and this is one of the best new products i have come accross. If you are only getting a jet of liquid it is because you aren't squeezing the nozzle hard enough. It's super quick and i can spray 100 sausage rolls in about 20 seconds instead of the usual 5 mins! I have just ordered another 10 cans in case i run out!
I was almost put off by the negative reviews but decided to chance it anyway. I hate having to waste most of my usual glaze of egg and milk.I am so glad that this product works so well. I have found that I still need you use a pastry brush to spread the glaze evenly. I got excellent results on pies and scones.
A wonderful product particularly if you only bake one pie at a time and cannot justify beating up a whole egg. There is only one problem, I have to travel over 30 miles to buy it. If you live near Lakeland you are lucky.
I LOVE this stuff. It's so easy to use. I just scoosh a small amount onto my pastry and spread it with my (Lakeland) silicone pastry brush. For fiddly things I spray it directly onto the brush. Please Lakeland don't stop stocking this!
Brilliant idea, I found holding the container whilst spraying a little slippery, but solved this by wrapping an elastic band around half way down the tin. Very good when making large batches of sausage rolls at Christmas. Saved having to egg wash one at a time! Always wash the nozzle after use as recommended, clogs up easily.
