"Not happy" star star star_border star_border star_border I have used a different make of small deep fat fryer for years. I was really disappointed with the booklet supplied with this item. It gives you ideal temperatures for cooking various food but doesn't give you any idea of timing. My first try was with two Scotch Eggs - I started off with a temperature of 170 and then decided to up the temperature to 200 as nothing seemed to be happening. Chips it said 200 well mine looked cooked but on turning out on the plate were almost cooked and really soggy. Not impressed. Will keep trying as I like the design of the fryer.
