"Top traybake"

star star star star star_border

I make tray bakes and brownies regularly and like the idea of the tray with a lid. I normally have to take my cake tins into school / work and then worry re keeping them flat. So this is fantastic. So good I purchased a second one.Only thing that lets it down is the awful awful sticky label. I have scrubbed, soaked and almost gave up and returned the item. However as I love it so much I persisted. eventually hubby gave me a spray of label remover which was fab...........but Lakeland please change to a non stick label or an easily removable one. Would be 5 star product if have decent label.

"Traybake container"

star star star star star_border

A few years ago I bought a traybake tray complete with a plastic lidded container to store it in. The whole tray fitted into the container, or you could just put the cake in. Was looking for a repeat order for that but could only find this. Agree with previous customer, the container is useful for multicake cooking.

Many thanks for placing your review. The old traybake (item 11194) was discontinued in 2008, so I hope this one will be a useful replacement for you.

Bought this recently as I make cakes regularly for birthdays at work! Now is is so easy to transport them without getting clingfilm on the icing! The only thing I can think that might improve it is somewhere to store a plastic knife - left mine at home the other day! Thanks again

"Disappointed ith peeling non-stick surface"

star star star_border star_border star_border

I have used this item infrequently over last couple of years, but enjoyed it. I am however disappointed that the non-stick finish is now peeling off. I will continue using it lining the tin with baking paper but that should not be necessary.

I'm sorry to hear that the non-stick has started to peel. I'll be in touch shortly to help.

"Great idea"

I love this traybake and have made some yummy cakes using it. The lid is very handy too and keeps it nice and fresh. I would love to see a seperate storage container for traybakes though as sometimes I want to make more than one and can't if the cake is being stored in the tin! All my cake containers are round or square and traybakes don't fit! Would be nice to see a traybake recipe book too, I have used a few recipes but they all use different shape tins (some are for square tins) so a book solely for use with this size tin would be fantastic.
