I was almost put off buying this gadget when I read some of the reviews but I'm glad I did buy it. It's so quick and easy to use. Insert the huller, twist and give it a slight tilt and the stalk comes out in a jiffy. No messing about! I would recommend buying it.
Read the other 2 reviews and nearly didn't buy this, so glad I decided to give it a go. This really is much better than the old plastic huller. The prongs don't grip, but if you use it as it says in the instructions, the stalks come out nice and easy and clean. Push it over the stalk give it a bit of a twist and scoop and hey presto a nice clean strawberry with no waste. Buying another for a friend.
I was at first a bit unsure of this gadget but after a bit of practice it become much easier to use. After inserting the huller all it takes is a quick twist and out comes the core and stalk, excellent gadget as usual from lakeland
I love this little huller, it is the only way I have found to get really neat strawberries. The technique is to press, twist, and scoop. It is easy with a little practice. I don't bother moving large leaves into the huller, I just remove any little bits around the neat hole once the hull is removed.
