"Compact Kettle" star star star star star This kettle is brlliant. If you are short of space on the worktop, or if you cannot manage to lift a large heavy kettle, this is the one for you. I can recommend it to anyone. It is stainless steel, both inside and out, and is something I have been looking for for a long time. I am ordering another one, and also one for a friend.
"love this kettle" star star star star star One day I looked at my kettle and thought, 'why is it so big?' I did some research about green kettles and came to Lakeland. The compact kettle looks good, uses less power and still holds over 1litre!! There are 4 people in my house however we all use the kettle at different times so the compact kettle is ideal and saves power!

The handle is very well designed in that there is plenty of room to be able to lift it. I was worried when I read other reviews regarding the lid getting stuck but was assured by Lakeland that the problem had been resolved and I have not had any trouble at all with the lid, in fact it is easy to open and close. The opening is nice and large to fill with water. "Great size but noisy" star star star star_border star_border I was looking for a smaller kettle for ages, and this really fitted the bill. Size wise its perfect for the two of us. If I have to find fault it is that i do find it incredibly noisy....a lot more so than some other kettles.
