"waste of money" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Recently used after buying some time ago. Much effort went into making mini quiches and could not get them out of the tray. Not one released well and ended up tipping the lot away as had to get them out in pieces. Thought it was me not greasing the pan until I watched the video and was most interested to note filo pastry was used presumably to assist with the release and when ordinary pastry used the lifting out was not shown. That makes me suspicious . Don't bother with this, lots of better alternatives. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. "Mini morsel bakeware." star star star star star Excellent product. Would recommend, so easy to shape these little tartlet cases. One of the best things I've bought from Lakeland.
"Brilliant Morsels." star star star star star Bought the set last week and tried it out today. Did 1st load with a blind bake and then fill and 2nd set just filled straight away. Both came out brilliant.I live in France so like to share my baking results with neighbours and they asked how I did them as it was scrummy.
"More useful than anticipated" star star star star star I'd seen this for a couple of years and always decided against buying it because it isn't exactly difficult to cut out pastry circles to make mini morsels with my existing tins and who needs another gadget. This year I bought it on a whim and am so pleased that I did. It is super quick and makes the neatest pastry cases which cook wonderfully. It is great for turning out impressive looking batches of sweet or savoury morsels for gatherings. I needed a couple of experiments to get the size of pastry ball right, smaller than you think, since my first bases were too thick, but now it's easy.
"Mini morsel set" star star star star star The first time I used this, I rolled tiny balls of pastry, and pushed them in. The bases I found were too thick. I have just made a second batch using ready rolled pastry and a small round pastry cutter. Didn't bother to pre-bake, and filled them with smoked salmon, 2 eggs beaten and 125ml of milk, plus seasoning. Cooked for 20 minutes at 200c. Perfect. So much easier, and taste wonderful.
