We bought this because my husband loves sparkling water and we had previously been buying bottled water from the supermarket every week. Now we just fizz tap water as and when needed - even I now drink sparkling water everyday as it tastes so much nicer. Very cost effective - we are still on the first gas cylinder and BEST OF ALL - no more bottles to lug home from the supermarket !!

This product has been long overdue - or at least I failed to find it in the UK for a long time. Stylish design, small surface footprint, easy to use - and eliminates an aweful lot of plastic waste from carbonated water bottles very quickly.

I received this for my last birthday, and absolutely love it. I drink sparkling water almost exclusively, so I get a lot of use out of it, but I don't know how good the mixes are. Its footprint on the worktop is small, it makes great seltzer, and it even looks good. I would suggest you buy an extra cartridge if you're planning on using it regularly, though, as the places to exchange them are few and it requires a special trip- frustrating in the middle of a busy week.

My husband likes sparjking mineral water, and I decided to try making my own by getting an old secondhand sodastream. It did the job really well, but looked awful on my worktop. With the money I saved on buying fizzy water, I bought this one, and it's fab. Very easy to use, the bottles are a sensible size (unlike the old one I had), and it's mart enough to be out on the worktop.Definitely a good investment.
