"pudsey cutter" star star star star star we have used this cutter with our Pre-school children for many years and it is always successful. Flour the inside first. Really good results. We sell lots of biscuits!
"Pudsey Bear Cookie Cutter" star star star star star I bought the stainless steel Pudsey Cutter after hopelessly disappointing results with my previous yellow plastic one with "handles". What an improvement! Marvellous, clear features on yummy looking "bickies" - very pleased :) Thank you Lakeland :)
"Simple and easy to use with great results" star star star star star Bought this after reading disappointing reviews of metal cutter. Found it very straightforward to use, thicker dough up to and even over 5mm gives the best impression and it is easy to fill in any gaps with a small knife for a clean line. Cookies sold well at bake sales too!
"Pudsey cutter -plastic" star star star star star_border This worked very well to make 62 biscuits to sell for Children in Need. They came out of the cutter easily and cleanly, and I only had 1 casualty out of the 62 - his head fell off! (It may have been my fault.) However, the biscuit mixture has to be very thick in order to imprint all the features, which obviously affects cooking time, biscuits per mix, and makes it harder to ensure they are cooked crisp all the way through, without burning the extremities. I also have one of the old plastic ones, with splayed legs, and whilst it was harder to get the dough out of, it was significantly shallower
"Cutter too deep" star star star star_border star_border Unlike other reviewers I had no problem with the cutter sticking but I did find I needed to roll out the dough much thicker than for other cutters such as the gingerbread man one sold by Lakeland. As a result I got half as many pudseys out of the my dough as I would have liked! I think if the depth of the cutter was reduced this would improve it. support_agent A note from the team I'll pass your suggestion on to our Buying team for consideration.
