About the Children in Need Pudsey Range

BBC Children in Need is a UK charity that raises money for disadvantaged children and young people living in the UK. It holds a star studded appeal night every year in November and there are a multitude of opportunities for individuals to raise money including bake sales and sponsorship for fun challenges or activities.

Pudsey Bear has been the logo and mascot of Children in Need since 1985 and was given a female friend, ‘Blush” in 2009. Pudsey has undergone some subtle design transformations over the years to become the playful bear that we all recognise today.

Each and every item sold in the Pudsey range generates a donation for Children in Need and, as many of our Pudsey-themed items are aimed at families who’d like to bake for coffee mornings and cake sales you’ll find it really easy to make even more money for this much loved cause.

"Great for Gingerbread Pudseys"

Been using one of these for years to make 100's of biscuits to sell at work. No problems with a dry gingerbread mix.

"Not what I expected..."

I bought this cutter after asking the Lakeland staff if they had heard about any problems with using it, I was assured they had heard of none. The problem with this item is you need to roll a precise thickness of biscuit, too thick and you end up with individual pieces (like a jigsaw), too thin and you don't get any facial markings from the cutter. A little disappointing for both my daughter and myself.

"Pudsey cutter"

Unfortunately this cutter has too many small holes & the mixture got stuck! Very disappointed as Pudsey came out with bits missing. Tried not pressing in the mixture too hard on the next batch & I lost the imprint!

"Pudsey biscuit cutter"

A huge disappointment. It was exceptionally difficult to use as it cut the body into pieces making it impossible to pick up an entire Pudsey shape. It took me hours to make 100 biscuits and never again. Please test your products rigorously before offering them to the public. A real error on behalf of Lakeland.

Very disappointed with this item not up to Lakeland standards ended up with jigsaw pieces rather than a biscuit

We're sorry to hear you've experienced this problem - it sounds like you may have pressed to hard in the centre of the cutter - the cutter should do the work as the lines are quite defined, a gentle press on the outer edges will help create your Pudsey masterpiece!
