"Happy Spuds!" star star star star star This is by far the best storage item for potatoes I have ever used; not only does it preserve the freshness and appearance of the contents, but it's neat to store as it stands on its own. It seemed expensive, and I put it off for a while, but recommend it unreservedly.
"This does work!" star star star star star My husband was very sceptical about this and so was I, given the reviews. We haven't had happy potatoes since moving to a flat where fridge space is limited and the kitchen is very hot and sunny. But I have to say that since using this bag the potatoes stay fresh for ages - no sprouting or mould; amazing.
"Well, yes" star star star star star I'm afraid to say that, although it seems to be the trend to be negative nowadays, I have to tell you that this product does definately work. Potatoes in here take some time to begin sprouting and most importantly do not go green, even after 3 weeks!. The bag itself is well made of a thick material and is quite large. It could perhaps do with a divided compartment inside to separate pototoes bought at different dates. This is money well spent.
"FABULOUS" star star star star star Really like this it's very trendy for modern kitchens too.I buy Cyprus potatoes which have lots of earth still on them and which usually create such a mess in my normal storage baskets but this is great and of course the earth helps keeps them fresh ,in my opinion. I would like to know if I could use for fruit as I don't like the gaudy colours of fruit bags and I buy loads of fruit each week. I use a nutribullet everyday and it would be great to buy another bag for the fruit,YES Or NO please. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. Yes - you could use this bag for storing fruit or vegetables.
