Bakingenius 20cm Square Cake Tin

I bought this product because I needed an 8in square tin. I never dreamed just how good it would be. The first thing I cooked in it was flap jacks, no greasing, no lining. What a surprise when they just slid out.I would, however, put a disk of paper in the bottom for a sponge, just a little patch in the middle caught. I strongly recomend this product.

Was very excited upon recieving this item as usually very please with all my Lakeland purchases. The first thing I baked was Chocolate Brownie and unfortunately the bottom stuck completely to the tin. I have since made a sponge but have had to use lots of cake release and even then it still stuck a little :-(

Not genius for me. Maybe depends what you're baking. Parkin was brilliant, as it baked away from the sides. For stickier things, like tray-bakes & chewy bars, it's not so great. My millionaire's shortbread welded itself to side. I had to use a rounded palette knife to release it, and even when being as careful as a safe-cracker I still scratched it all. I'm disappointed.

I originally gave this 5 stars and a glowing review but I have to say I have not been impressed with the long-term use. Food no longer comes out effortlessly and I have resorted to using the magic liner (from Lakeland) on this and the baking sheet.At the moment the yorkshire pudding tin is holding up well (|I guess because you put fat in first).
