My Kitchen Cook & Bake 15cm Loose Based Sandwich Tin

These are the best sandwich tins I have ever brought,the cakes are brilliant if you only need a small Victoria sponge .

I'm really pleased with the quality of the tins, nice small size...other good things are: ▪makes a lovely cake, ▪cake comes away from tin very easily ▪also really easy to clean.

I make a decent sponge cake so treated myself to a pair of these and a pair of the 23cm tins so i could make myself a tiered wedding cake in June this year. I had to have a few practice runs before I made something I was prepared to serve. Getting the balance between wet enough to be moist when cooked and dry enough to get a clean cake out of the tin is tricky. I tried cake release spray but it didn't improve the finish enough to make up for the greasy residue. I wish there were liners for sale for either of these sizes! But feels good and heavy, doesn't warp and cleans really easily.

I ordered two 15cm loose base cook & bake tins on saturday 19/11/11. They arrived monday 21/11/11. I am impressed with he speed of service. I have been looking for ages for good quality small tins, as like to make various cakes for my retired parents. They prefer smaller cakes but finding the tins has been tricky. These tins are superb quality, they are sturdy and well made and the 15cm size is perfect for what I want. The tins are mini marvels!!
