Magimix® 5200 Food Processor

.... simply the best. Worth every penny, I just adore it. It does things in seconds that would take much longer. If you drop the bowl, it bounces, its made from the same stuff as aeroplane windows, so tough. The blades are very sharp and I love the accessory holder. An investment in my time and energy.

I use this a lot. I find it really useful to have the different sized bowls. Plus it's a great bonus to have a juicer incorporated, so that I don't have to find yet more counter space for a juicer! Nice and sturdy. I was dubious as to whether it was really worth all that extra money over a cheaper food processor, but once I started to batch cook and do large quantities, I realised that it was. That's where it really comes into its own.

Hello, this machine looks sturdy, but it doesn't like doing dough very much! It cut out before the dough was mixed enough, and we didn't know if it was the fuse blown, so we changed the fuse and it worked again, but then the same thing happened, until we changed the fuse again and then it wouldn't work any more. it was very hot/warm (not too hot to touch) but when it cooled down about an hour later when we tried it, it then worked again, but i had transfered the dough to my other machine!! Is this normal for it to overheat? or did we do something wrong? We followed the recipe as suggested in the book. Another thing i have noticed is that the main blade is already going rusty near the plastic (where it joins) and i have only had this 2 weeks!!! Help, i thought i wouldn't have ANY problems with this machine costing so much. Thank you anyway for reading this.
