Our smart family-sized, 4.5 litre slow cooker has three settings – LOW for simmering and slow cooking; HIGH for faster cooking; and AUTO, which regulates temperature automatically. The oval ceramic pot easily accommodates a large joint and vegetables; is removable for carrying to the table, and is dishwasher safe too. With a glass lid that lets you keep an eye on proceedings.

"Prestige Family Slow Cooker"

This is one of the best kitchen gadgets I have ever purchased It roasts full joints of meat to perfection it makes wonderful stews casseroles rice and fish dishes on a daily basis I do not know how I managed without it. Ace !!!!!

I have used this Slow Cooker on many occassions it is good to find a product that is big enough to hold enough food in it to feed a large family of five adults. Every meal I have made has been successful, it is easy to clean after.

"A new pot for a new kitchen"

We had a new kitchen fitted recently changing the colourto black and brushed steel. Therefore we needed a slow cooker and my wife had seen the Prestige Family Slow Cooker in the catalogue. The colour and shape met all our requirements. There is the added bonus that this cooker has more settings available that most slow cookers. Our first meal using the slow cooker was superb and the pot was so easy to clean afterwards.

"A must for a busy family!"

Since purchasing this slow cooker 2 months ago, it has been in use at least 2 or 3 times a week. Can't imagine what I ever did without it! It is now a pleasure to return from a cold touchline after watching my boys play football, knowing what will be waiting. The cooker is extremely simple to use, and made to a very good standard - feels very sturdy. The pot is easy to lift out to bring to the table - and looks stylish too.Only word of warning is that the handle gets very hot. Also quite difficult to stop the condensation on the underside of the lid running back into the pot when removing.

"Solidly Constructed Slow Cooker"

As soon as I got it out of its box I realised that this slow cooker was superior to those I have had in the past as the build quality is of a very high standard. It had a clear instruction book but since I am familiar with using a slow cooker to make soups, stews and caseroles I had no problem in getting it going with our first meal which happened to be braising steak - lovely.Previous cookers we have owned have given problems with plastic becoming brittle and knobs breaking off but I have no fear of this happening with the Prestige.
