"Great whisk!" star star star star star I wanted one of these 'just because' my grandma used to have one and I've found it immensely useful for small jobs, eg beating pancake mix or whisking eggs and sugar to make custard. For heavier jobs, eg whisking egg whites for meringue, I still use my Kenwood chef, but for everyday jobs it's ideal. It's also really useful for when you don't necessarily want to work near an electrical socket, eg for making things at the kitchen table, with the kids having a go.
"I Took a Whisk...." star star star star star When I was a child my mother had a brilliant rotary whisk. Over the years I have tried a few but none were as good as that one - mostly they ended up going out of "true" and the blades getting stuck Saw this one and decided to take one last gamble on getting one as good as Mom's! And it is. Very smooth action, not too heavy yet sturdy and being a little narrower than many other models it fits into some of the more slim line jugs.
"Very happy" star star star star star_border This is great for batter mix or whisking eggs. A hand whisk is easier to scrape along the sides of the dish to get all the mix together but this does make life a little easier when the work has to be done!
"lovely light cream" star star star star star_border After searching for a rotary whisk for quite some time, finally this one does an excellent job.As I suffer with arthritis in my wrists I needed to have a whisk that needed minimum effort, this one is really good. Thank you. Irene
"Rotary Whisk" star star star_border star_border star_border I was very glad to see the rotary whisk is being sold again, as mine, which I have been using for 30 years has lost its plastic piece on the handle. I bought one and had it sent on to me, as I am living abroad. It looks very nice, but I was extremely disappointed as the blades are rounded at the bottom instead of flat and when whisking they do not catch all the egg and you have to keep lifting the whisk up and down a number of times to catch every bit - this takes time and is irritating! Hence I have gone back to using my old one which catches all the egg and is very quick. Why have they changed the shape? support_agent A note from the team I'm sorry you've been disappointed with the whisk. I'll pass your comments on and be in touch shortly.
