"Crack" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Bought one of these a year or so ago and used a lot. Great size, great whisk and it actually lasted pretty well (without staining too). I bought a replacement one last month and have already had to throw it away because it cracked. Not sure if you are using different supplier or something but had similar problem with the green saucepan; just seems that the quality not what it used to be, although the smaller ones (with one lid) seem to survive better! support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. The buyer has advised that the item is made from part polycarbonate which, at the moment, is the best material we can find for this sort of use, as it is stain and scratch resistant. Frequent use and cooking food with high sugar or fat content can accelerate the problems with cracking. Our buyers are actively seeking alternative materials to enhance the product
"great whisk, poor bowl" star star star_border star_border star_border I bought this set in my local shop in Perth a while ago, on impulse. It lived in a cupboard with all my many other bowls and was initially perfect for the microwave. The whisk is a godsend, as you can just leave it in your bowl of beans, or scrambled eggs as you're cooking them. However, the bowl cracked in numerous places over a relatively short space of time. It really felt quite flimsy and just didn't survive, so I ended up having to bin it, disappointingly. Still have the whisk and think that's fab, but wouldn't get the bowl again. "Microwave bowl" star star star star star_border I also have trouble with the silly little knob, but have solved the problem with a rubber band kindly left on my path by the postman. The whisk soon broke at the weakest point and now the bowl has a star crack in the bottom which leaks.
