"I like it!" star star star star star I am trying to lose weight with a slimming magazine, so fat is banned. I am happily using the Fat Magnet on slow-cooked food and home-made stock. So far so good, I've had no problems; in fact I am amazed at how well it works. On the online photo it is being skimmed across the meat and vegetables but in fact I remove most of the bulky contents with a slotted spoon and then use the fat magnet on a flat liquid surface. (oh, and couldn't we all use a Fat Magnet for life, not just for casseroles?). support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review.
"Nice idea but not great in practice" star star star_border star_border star_border I bought the Fat Magnet as I've recently bought a slow cooker and thought it would be an easy way to collect the floating fat from my dishes. I have used the Fat Magnet a few times now and it doesn't seem to work overly well; it takes quite a long time to skim the fat and doesn't get the majority of it - skimming with a spoon does the job just as well and doesn't take as long.
"Not up to scratch" star star_border star_border star_border star_border The idea was good but didn't measure up in practise. I found it very slow and cumbersome and have now reverted to the old fashioned method of a spoon and the fat magnet has been relegated to the back of the cupboard. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you'd been disappointed with the fat magnet. I'll be in touch shortly.
