Dura White Porcelain Serveware - Small Roaster

I wanted a dish to make lasagne for the two of us. Yesterday was the inaugural trip for this dish. It was the best lasagne I have made for two, using some bolognese sauce made earlier and frozen. It is deep so keeps everything in layers, even when serving. I will be looking for some lasagne pasta which isn't as long as the one I have, as I did have to break a strip off the pieces for the bottom to make it fit. I'm going to get a second to batch cook as they will go side by side in the oven. I'll be trying Toad in the Hole next as it will cope with high temperatures.

I bought four of these small roasters. Each dish was identical in size and the finish of the ceramic was excellent and they stack well. So far I have made a cottage pie and the size was perfectly adequate for two. There was no "spitting" in the oven which you can get sometimes when using a shallower dish. I also made a crumble and the size was just right for four people. They stack well in the freezer.They clean up to perfection in the dishwasher. Can't believe I haven't purchased this product before. It is definitely one of my best purchases for the kitchen in a long time. Yve from Hants.

Excellent dishes, good ceramic. Would suit large individual or good two servings. Clean well. Look good. However, I bought eight dishes and have five really nice thin good quality dishes and three rather uneven thick dishes. Those three don't stack well and take up as much room as the other five. Delighted with the five, disappointed with the three. Would suggest inspecting each one to ensure consistency when buying! Five stars for thin ones, three for thick ones. Hence four Stars.

I wish I had got the tape measure out before ordering this dish. I was looking for something big enough for 2/3 but this dish is really quite small. It is solid enough and reasonably deep but I think I'll now have to order the large version - although looking at that and the reviews, it looks big enough for 2 but not a family of 4.
