"large casserole dish" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Bought both sizes of this dish and after using the smaller one was very disappointed when it came to clean it. The main body cleaned ok, but the rim of the lid and where it seats on the dish are unglazed and now have unsightly brown stains on them. I have soaked them in hot soapy water and scrubbed them with a plastic scourer, all to no avail. I cannot use them to serve food on the table as it looks as though I haven't cleaned them properly. The larger dish is manufactured in the same way. I think they will have to be returned if possible. "Beautiful quality - but....." star star star star star_border This is a lovely quality dish but I think you should warn customers how very heavy the large one is. I am of advancing years and have just prepared my first casserole in this dish and had a job to lift it into the oven . "how to clean" star star star star_border star_border The casserole and lid cleans perfectly in a decent dishwasher including the unglazed rim. Good overall performance until my son dropped it - his fault not the product's. However,the handles chip easily.
"WARNING!!!" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought this in store and the second time I've used it to make a pot roast the whole thing cracked!!! This is NOT what I expect from a Lakeland product!! I shall be going in store tomorrow to get a refund and shall NOT be purchasing an item like this from here again!! Very disappointing!! However, the very first time we used it the base cracked, spilling food all over the oven! I'm tempted to replace it with the "delicious" one but that seems too shallow.
