Dura White Porcelain Serveware - Large Casserole Dish

We bought two of these from the Cambridge shop today, taking advantage of the special offer. Unfortunately the dimensions on the web site have the diameter 'incl handles' as 26cm, but it really is 30cm (26cm would have been excl handles). We'll still want to keep the dishes but unfortunately won't be able to use them in our microwave, as we had intended to. Thanks again to the nice lady at the till who helped me getting rid of those bulky boxes and packed them in bubble wrap for me instead!

This is a lovely quality dish but I think you should warn customers how very heavy the large one is. I am of advancing years and have just prepared my first casserole in this dish and had a job to lift it into the oven . I think I will be giving it to one of my younger more able-bodied friends - otherwise usual excellent service and product from Lakeland.

This caserole has no glazing around the underside of the rim which means that cooking stains are difficult to remove. Soaking, dishwasher and brand name cream cleaners failed but I eventually managed to clean it with bleach. I think the lid needs to be totally glazed. Full marks to Lakeland for efficient and friendly service over the many years I have used their products

The casserole and lid cleans perfectly in a decent dishwasher including the unglazed rim. Good overall performance until my son dropped it - his fault not the product's. However,the handles chip easily.

We were bought two sizes of these dishes as wedding presents and both have stained after first use as noted in the previous review. Otherwise a good product but being white it always looks like we haven't cleaned it properly and reluctant to use on the table to serve from.
