"Superior Quality" star star star star star I have a similar one already, but in comparison to my new Lakeland one it is very flimsy. Beautiful matt finish, sturdy and does everything it says on the tin. Can recommend.
"Great little steamer" star star star star star So far this steamer is proving to be very useful. It was bought to replace a previous basket steamer (not from Lakeland) that was falling apart and whose leaves kept falling off. This one is smaller and fits into more pans, seems sturdy and washes well in the dishwasher. A little expensive but worth it.
"Rubbish" star star_border star_border star_border star_border With the help of the assistant I was persuaded to buy this product , she told me they had sold a lot however the one on display was rather 'loose' so helpfully she opened the last remaining boxed one and it did seem tighter and not prone to collapsing to a flat plate . I threw away the receipt and the box , happy that it would live up to my expectations . How wrong I was , I have used it three times and each time it collapses to flat or I have to find a pan small enough for it to have a form. But that means the veg are standing in water which defeats the objective . support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties and I've emailed to help further. Regarding using this basket as a steamer basket - I found using a shallow pan (possibly a frying pan) to be the best to produce the steamed results.
"A LITTLE GEM. WELL MADE AND AT A BUDGET PRICE." star star star star star I already own a Foldaway Steamer Basket, but the feet scratch the non-stick surface on my pans. I have since bought Lakeland's Foldaway Steamer Basket. It protects non-stick coatings because the feet, very cleverly, are round and as smooth as silk. I can highly recommend this product. "Neat little gadget" star star star star star if one is short of storage space this is a handy little steamer. does the job and folds away neatly.
