Handy Lighter

Having been very patient with my refillable handy lighters, but finally cracked and said goodbye to my refillable handy lighters after trying for the 100th time and with the umpteenth different type of gas canister to refill any of the six handy refillable lighters that i have scattered in handy places around the house.Having given in to the fact that i would have to buy new refillable handy lighters i went on line and read the reviews, and wow i'm not the only one to have this problem.Could you please recommend a lighter refill that would be compatible with my one remaining handy lighter or change the description to non refillable handy lighter in your brochure.On the positive side they are very good value and reliable.

Excellent lighter, easy to use but not to refill. As it is reasonably priced this does not matter.

Suffering with arthritis in my fingers (especially my right hand) this Handy Lighter is so very easy to use and I can put it on with my thumbs which aren't affected. I have so many handy "gadgets" which help with everyday kitchen life and this is another one to add to them. I must say my husband first bought two when he visited the store and since then we have bought more to give to friends in the same position. Thank you to whoever designed this lighter.......

Very easy to use, compared to those slim, long designed ones, (especially when hands are not spotlessly clean and dry), easy to refill, lights everything, hob, candles, bbq....Good

I have had a Lakeland gas lighter for many years (similar to but not the same as the current one). I find I can use the nozzle already on the can of fuel, and don't need to add a different one. Sometimes there is slight leakage and it is a bit tricky making sure the nozzle is precisely centred on the inlet of the lighter, but with a little patience it is perfectly possible. I wonder if some reviewers are making the same mistake I once did of trying to refill into the top of the lighter instead of into the hole in the bottom?
