I used these tins to make a chocolate cake which has a runny mixture. The tins did not leak, the cakes baked evenly and released with ease from the tins when baked. I am going to purchase more in different sizes!
I have bought several loose bottomed sponge cake tins they are brilliant the cakes do not stick at all and they are easy to wash I would recommend them to anyone in fact I am off to buy because I love baking and all my cakes are made with love and of course with a little help from Lakeland
this is a great product,I just wish I had found out about them sooner,the cake is removed from tin with ease and no more sponges with damaged sides,thank you for a really good product.
I'm so glad I replaced my cheap tins for these heavier duty ones, and I love how easy to clean they are. Only niggle is that I bought 2 a while back, then got a third and it is a different design so now I need to weigh mixture before putting in the tins.
I purchased two of these last week and have just used them when making a lemon drizzle cake. I used the Lakeland parchment lined foil to line the tins and they worked beautifully. The tins seem to be solidly made, do not warp in the oven, and the bases fit well. Hopefully they will last for years.
