My Kitchen Cook & Bake Deep Bun Tin

I now have a number of items from the My Kitchen range. Each piece is perfectly weighted to ensure even baking and they are so easy to clean. Dried straight after washing, they will last for years. Many thanks.

Lakeland being one of my favourite shops I am very disappointed at this Muffin tin. I make Yorkshire puddings in this tin and a supermarket one and unfortunately I have to agree with Carol in that the bottom of the tin has started peeling away and embedding itself into the puddings! It is washed every time in hot soapy water so not quite sure I totally agree on your reply to Carol. The question is do I buy another another one or opt for the supermarkets. Don't worry it won't stop me shopping in Lakeland guess I was just unlucky!!!

A brilliant deep bun tin, lovely and sturdy and the cake overspill (filled the cases too much) just washed off.

Sturdy material, does not warp or bend but there's insufficient room around the sides to be able to pick it up with oven gloves on without fouling the muffins / buns / cupcakes that you're trying to cook, or risking dropping it because theres nothing to hold to. In other words it needs a handle area at either end, or more room around the edges of the pan to act as a handle. I consider these very awkward to use when trying to turn them around on an oven shelf for even baking or remove from the oven with one or both hands without risking dropping a fresh baked batch on the floor.

Like everything in this range, the quality is good and lasts. I've had my deep bun tins for a few years and love making deep mince pies in them at christmas, we bake all sorts in them with and without paper cases. Recommended.
