These are a far better alternative to traditional joined oven mits, greatly reducing the risk of an incident, accident or burn. Also make it much easier to manipulate hot items in the microwave and to properly grip hot pans and trays from the oven without the restriction of the joining band between a pair of oven mits. We love these - third pair we have purchased over the years!

These gloves do the job of protecting fingers, hands and arms from oven heat. However, they are rather too long for comfort, reaching the elbow and being quite tight, making them difficult to draw on over a sweater. And if one holds the hot dish for any length of time the heat does penetrate quite noticeably, unlike Lakeland's original oven gloves that had rubberised grips on the fingers; they were completely heat-proof and gripped dishes well, better for a person with arthritic hands. Incidently, the loops on both gloves broke - one the first time I hung them up - and had to be sewn back on.

I have the coolskin gloves but they are getting old. Unfortunately you do not seem to cater for those of us with small hands and these are a bit on the large side. Otherwise a good product. Would give it 5 stars if you did all sizes.

These gloves look as though they will be really protective if they fit you. Unfortunately, they were way too big for my hands and the ribbed arm protective area was too tight, and my arms are not big. If you would normally wear larger than a size 7 glove and have very thin arms above the wrist they are probably perfect. Perhaps they should be sold in different sizes to avoid disappointment. However they were not suitable for me and because of Covid I have donated them to charity.
