I have waiting a couple of weeks to write this just to make sure it works and it does. Even heat distrubution and after about 10 uses it still rinses under hot water and wipes as good as new with a soapy sponge. We have never had one this good.
This is an excellent griddle pan that is hard to fault. I principally use this pan for beef steaks and I have found its non-stick properties to be impressive; easily washing clean in soapy water whether I have used oil or have dry fried. What is more, it is the perfect pan for getting that criss-cross appearance when presentation is important. The pan is as large as it could be for use on a single burner or ring but heats up very effectively. The overall weight and the sturdy handle adds to a feeling of high quality and durability. I would buy this pan again.
The pan is a great size with a good surface which is easy to clean. It cooks food perfectly .
I had the previous version of this pan for about 7 years until regular English Breakfasts had made it less easy to clean. The new version has an improved handle design (our old one had a wobble). Having had pans that have been throw away in less than a year I can say that this is worth the expense.
I've never used a griddle pan before but the pan heats quickly and conducts the heat evenly through the pan ensuring that the meat is cooked evenly, even if the meat portion has different depths. Very easy to clean and I would give it 5 stars.
